Acquired by the Navy, 12 March 1942, and placed in service as Edenshaw (YT-459)
Assigned to the Moroccan Sea Frontier during 1943-44
Reclassified as Large Harbor Tug YTB-459, 15 May 1944
Placed out of service and transferred to France under lend lease
Upon her return to US Navy custody she was transferred to the State Department for disposal
Transferred to France and commissioned into the France navy as FNS Coolie (A-684)
Struck from the Naval Register, 28 April 1949
Final Disposition, decommissioned by the French navy, 16 December 1981, at Toulon and sold for scrapping
